This bottle opener was turned from an unknown burl, most likely ash or oak.  It uses a Niles style stainless steel bottle opener that the burl handle threads on to, and is finished with CA glue and waxed.

The handle is about 3" in length for a roughly 5" overall length.

Care information

Required care should be minimal, but the stainless steel bottle opener can be unscrewed from the handle and washed like any other kitchen utensil.

Should the handle need to be cleaned, a damp rag should be sufficient. If unwanted scratches or scuffs are caused to the handle, buffing with some finishing paste wax can be done. Renaissance wax was used in the original finish process.
